We’re looking for Marketing & Communications Intern
Love marketing and communications? Looking to get experience in a fast-paced, consumer facing industry? It’s time to join the Canandaigua Lake Wine Trail as its Marketing & Communications Intern. We need a passionate, digital-savvy marketing intern to assist in content creation and engagement! Check out the details below, and apply!
Time Commitment: Requires 5-10 hours per week; with a very rare night and weekend shift
Pay or Credit: At this time we’re able to offer a “for credit” internship
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day content ideation and creation for the Trail’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram primarily), email, and blog
Content creation includes photography, video, animation - the more creative the better
Writing relevant, timely blog content that supports the Trail’s brand and drives organic search results
Monitor and respond to community comments with real-time engagement
Pull analytics reports to show success of content
Preferred Qualifications, Passions and Experience:
A passion for content
A desire to help the Canandaigua Lake Wine Trail and the Finger Lakes region grow
Experience with the Adobe suite is a plus (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
A strong writer who loves to do it
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management skills
Strong verbal and written skills
Ability to develop and main collaborative relationships across the organization, and with external stakeholders
Ability to work autonomously, but within a team structure
Self motivated with a critical attention to detail
Big Picture:
You’ll work with three marketing professionals with a combined experience of more than 65 years
You’ll make several connections with key stakeholders in the food and beverage, tourism and economic development industry
You’ll have fun and the chance to truly lead social media accounts
